So basically, this year hasn’t really been my best. And some of the decisions I’ve made have caused me to face consequences that I never really thought I would. But despite all of that (plus the disgusting workload from school), I still feel really positive. And it’s kinda weird, but it’s all because of music. Like, people seem to forget the power of words:
‘The tongue has the power of life and death’, Proverbs 18:21
So anytime I feel vaguely depressed, I shove my earphones in and listen. Listen to the words. But not just of any ragamuffin, but of Mali Music…
I have no idea what it is about this dude that made me dedicate a whole post to him, but when I hear his voice, it just makes me so happy. He just has the most HAMAZING tone, and… arrggghhhh! As a gospel singer, his words are always motivational. And as a Christian, I hear.
Basically, he helps me to remember that at the end of the day, I have to come back to God. And when I feel I’m on my own or that things aren’t going my way, there is always someone I can turn to. And it’s a big problem that Christians of today have (with me being part of the group). Human understanding is not enough. It’s not through us that all things are possible, but through Christ. And anyone that is able to share that message with the masses is certainly worthy of a little dedication.
So yahh, thank you Mali <3
